Sunday Night Football will feature a divisional game between the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills, a clash with one very polished team and contender for the Super Bowl, the Bills, facing a very young team that has been trying to rebuild since the departure of their two key dynasty elements: Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Here is our BossAction prediction.

Renewal Time for the Patriots

There was a time when thinking or talking about the New England Patriots was synonymous with success and glory, but ever since the retirement (first time) of quarterback Tom Brady, things haven’t remained the same for one single season. The dynasty is now a memory lane for Massachusetts fans, and this was confirmed even more with the exit of multi-time winning coach Bill Belichick, another stronghold of the Patriots.

Now, the team has relied on his reconstruction, based on draft picks, to position itself at the very top level and compete with the elite teams in the NFL. However, the draft class of 2024 hasn’t shown what they probably were expecting. WR Javon Baker and TE Jaheim Bell were cut, OG Layden Robinson and CB Marcellas Dial are part of the injury reserve, while WR Ja’Lynn Polk and QB Joe Milton were traded. The only player who earned a spot in the starter lineup is the quarterback, Drake Maye. That’s just one player out of 8 picks, not a bright scenario for a team looking for their next gen to step up.

Still, QB Drake Maye seems to be the bearer of hope, and his numbers are pretty decent in his sophomore year with a 68.5% completion percentage for 3,264 yards and 22 TD. Also, he was selected to play in 1 Pro Bowl. Maye and company will enter Week 5 with a 2-2 record after a couple of frustrating home defeats and two good games of Maye against the Miami Dolphins and Carolina Panthers.

The Bills’ Road to Super Bowl LX

The Bills have solidified their place in the elite-exclusive group of tough teams that are contenders season after season, since the arrival of Josh Allen. The shining NFL MVP is one of the best quarterbacks in the league and is likely to be one of the greatest in the sport’s history. 1 MVP, 3x Pro Bowl, 27,398 passing yards, 202 TD, 4,301 rushing yards, and 68 rush TD, all this through 8 seasons, and eager for more.

These accolades place the Buffalo Bills as one of the two unbeaten teams in the 2025 NFL season, with a record of 4-0, alongside the current champion Philadelphia Eagles. The reigning MVP has led the Buffalo Bills to victories over the Baltimore Ravens (41-40 in Week 1) and then what can be described as comfortable wins over the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and New Orleans Saints.

Patriots vs Bills Final Score Prediction
